About the event
A 3-hour immersive yoga and aromatherapy workshop to help you work towards your new year's intentions: qualities you would like to cultivate in your life. The workshop will help you find clarity and connection to your mind and body, leaving you rejuvenated, enthusiastic and confident, with a clear focus for the new year.
We will start with a breathing exercise and a fresh, rejuvenating vinyasa yoga practice (beginner friendly): finding stability and grounding in our foundations in order to give a solid base for our bodies to emerge and grow in the poses with ease and lightness.
We will continue with a meditation to root, ground and look inward; followed by a journaling exercise to help us find the direction we aim to grow and to set our own personal intentions for the year ahead.
Keeping our intentions in our focus, we will explore the essential oils one by one aiming to help us find those that connect with our chosen qualities we would like to cultivate. The essential oils are carefully chosen to help strengthen our mind-body connection, focus on tasks, support communication, invoke a sense of compassion and self-compassion, promote confidence, shake off stress, and create tranquillity among others.
You will choose the oils that contain the messages to yourself for 2023, and then blend your own roller-bottle blend with your choices of essential oils that help you confidently focus on your new year plan. We will guide you to write a short personal message or ‘mantra’ that your blend carries, to remind you of your intentions every time you inhale it.
We will finish our workshop with a guided meditation, to anchor your own blended aroma to your new year intentions.
Tea and sandwiches will be provided after the workshop with a chance to chat, reflect, and share our experiences.
