About the event

Are you tired of feeling like your menstrual cycle is holding you back every month? Women face a range of physical and mental health challenges during their menstrual cycle including anemia, cramps, depression, mood swings, irregular periods, and sugar cravings. Fortunately, our workshop offers a solution.

Our workshop is designed to empower and support women who are struggling with menstrual issues. By incorporating yoga therapy and aromatherapy into your routine, you can reduce menstrual cramps, manage PMS symptoms, and alleviate stress.

During the workshop, we will start with a yoga sequence led by our yoga therapist Emily, she will guide you through carefully selected breathing practices, a gentle flow and a choice of restorative poses to alleviate a range of menstrual symptoms. The poses she has selected are designed to be therapeutic and you will create your own home practice choosing your favourite elements that can be integrated into your daily routine.

After the yoga practice, our aromatherapist Ying will guide you through exploring the therapeutic properties of selected essential oils to target your menstrual-related concerns. You'll learn how to create your own body lotion blend to take home, which can ease symptoms and alleviate stress.

To conclude the workshop, Emily will guide us through some gentle movement, followed by meditation. With a limited group size, we'll discuss individual concerns and help you integrate these powerful tools into your daily routine with little effort.
